Fyffe – DeKalb County

Fyffe is a town in DeKalb County where a school question, a town-office errand and a festival visit lead to different places. I would separate those plans before building a home-search routine: the school website has an elementary-family route despite its high-school name, while an old festival application is not a current event invitation.

Fyffe: town boundary from the 2024 U.S. Census Bureau, with the same boundary highlighted in a Northern Alabama locator inset. North is up. Editorial area: Appalachian Foothills. Not a property or service-boundary map.

Where should I start with a town question?

The town’s contact page lists 514 Campbell Street, Fyffe, AL 35971, 256-623-7298, with Monday–Friday hours of 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Call ahead for the appropriate person and any holiday changes if your errand requires more than dropping something off.

Tell the office the actual property address and the question you need answered. A Fyffe mailing address alone does not establish whether a parcel is inside town limits, which provider serves it or which school assignment applies. Keep those confirmations separate rather than treating one office visit as approval of every move-in detail.

Why does the high-school website have elementary parent information?

The official school site includes a dedicated Elementary Parent Info page welcoming Fyffe Elementary families. It identifies ClassDojo as a parent-communication route and offers reading and mathematics resources. Families should use that specific section rather than assume a site titled Fyffe High School has nothing relevant to younger children.

For a move involving a student, ask the school to confirm the grade-specific contact, enrollment route and communication setup. Joining a messaging channel is not enrollment, and a school website does not establish assignment for a prospective property. Discuss any existing learning supports directly with school staff before planning the transition.

The school’s published physical address is 153 Church Street, Fyffe, AL 35971, with phone 256-623-2116. This is a different destination from Town Hall; use the street address, not the postal box, when planning a visit.

What can an older student ask about beyond the daily timetable?

The school’s program overview names Agriscience, Family and Consumer Science, and Business Education among its career and technical education offerings. It also describes FFA and FBLA participation. Those are useful starting points for a conversation about interests, not a guarantee of a particular course section or place in a program.

Ask which options fit the student’s current grade, prerequisites and schedule, and whether a transfer affects the sequence of courses already started. A list of program names cannot answer those individual scheduling questions. I would resolve that conversation before comparing homes solely by distance to the school.

Is the UFO Days page advertising an upcoming festival?

Not the edition currently described. As reviewed October 31, 2026, the town’s UFO Days page has a heading referring to 2025 but body text naming Saturday, August 22, 2026. Both are past dates. Its July 2026 application deadline and August setup instructions should not be treated as an invitation to apply for a future event.

If you want a visit to coincide with the next festival—or hope to participate as a vendor—ask Town Hall for the newly announced date and current application. Do not arrange travel, send a payment or plan setup from the old page. An ordinary town visit and a festival day are different plans; an event description does not establish current park hours or rental availability.

Your question Best starting route
Town-office errand or next UFO Days announcement Fyffe Town Hall; confirm the current date and responsible contact
Elementary-family communication The school’s Elementary Parent Info section, then the grade-specific office
Course sequence or career-program participation School staff, with the student’s grade and prior coursework
Property records or school-system handoffs The DeKalb County guide, followed by address-specific confirmation

The DeKalb County guide brings together broader property, school-system and provider questions. I can help organize a Fyffe-area home search around the routines you want while the responsible offices confirm what applies to each address.
