Where can I go for an ordinary indoor activity?
The city’s Parks and Recreation page lists the Recreation Center at 629 10th Street SE, Red Bay. Published daily-use hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m., with walking, basketball, volleyball and pickleball among the activities. The page says those daily activities have no charge.
That does not make an event rental or an instructed class free. The city separately offers the reception room and gymnasium for rental, with 256-668-0289 as the recreation contact and a linked RecDesk reservation route. Ask about the activity and date before organizing a group; ordinary daily use and a reserved room solve different needs.
Is the Fun Park the same as the water park?
The city’s Fun Park page identifies the destination as 650 2nd Street NW, Red Bay, AL 35582. It distinguishes free admission to the park, playground and walking trail from paid water attractions. A photograph of the slides should not be read as a promise that swimming is available on a fall visit.

What other city-park stop fits a short visit?
The recreation directory places Bay Tree Park across from City Hall and identifies it as the site of the original Red Bay School. It also lists a nine-hole Freedom Hills disc-golf course at Dixie Youth Park. These offer different reasons to explore the city; neither should be confused with the water-park entrance or an event reservation.
For a general municipal question, City Hall is at 203 4th Avenue SE, Red Bay, AL 35582, 256-356-4473. Its published office hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Those are office hours, not opening times for every outdoor facility or recreation program.
